INNOVATIVE CHALLENGE PROGRAM
The UCLA Epicenter for Action Research, UCLA IT Service and UCLA Career Center are delighted to share some exciting news about the launch of the Innovative Challenge (IC) program for Spring 2023.
The IC program is a collaborative effort between UCLA and Amazon Web Services (AWS) inviting UCLA students to solve real-world problems through technology. Over the course of a month, students will learn new ways to leverage technology to help address critical problems and opportunities facing the university, its students, and the broader LA community. We encourage UCLA students from all years, disciplines, and backgrounds to apply!
Participants will compete in teams to solve a real world challenge through the application of AWS technology. The month-long competition will provide an invaluable, hands-on learning opportunity for students to access continual support and mentoring from AWS and University technical and subject-matter experts. At the culmination of the program, students will present their solutions and technical architectures to a panel of judges. Winners of the competition will receive AWS credits and access to AWS technical mentors to develop a working prototype of their solution(s)!
